The Manager’s Toolkit® Helps Propel Major UK Food Manufacturer to Awards Final
The Manager’s Toolkit®, the digital hub of on-demand resources designed to help managers develop their skills, has helped to contribute towards one of its clients, Hovis, being nominated as a finalist for a national food manufacture training award.
Hovis has been selected as a finalist in the Food Manufacture Training Award category of the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards hosted by the Food Manufacturing Group, the industry’s leading authority.
The Food Manufacture Excellence Awards are used to celebrate the outstanding achievement within the UK’s fast-growing food and drink industry. The awards recognise all elements of food and drink manufacturing, including environmental initiatives, business acumen, business change management, supply chain innovation, young talent and teamwork. It is recognised as the leading awards ceremony in the industry.
As part of the multi-faceted approach that Hovis has taken towards the development of its managers, they required an on-demand learning and development solution to support the growth and development of their managers and colleagues.
The Manager’s Toolkit® provided an ideal solution to their needs and addressed some of the key requirements that Hovis were looking for. Hovis opted for a ‘Hovis branded’ version of the Toolkit, which was integrated into their existing Learning Management System platform, as well as enriching it with guides, videos and tools.
The Manager’s Toolkit® also helpfully dovetails with their existing learning offer to provide a truly blended approach to their staff development.
The Manager’s Toolkit® has helped Hovis to develop the performance and capability of their managers and colleagues, whilst minimising the time that managers and colleagues need to spend away from their work whilst training. It has also helped to reduce their reliance on external trainers.
